Had seen Group Policy in action, but needed more information to implement it.
Had been “banging his head” trying to make logon scripts work.
Had taken one of Jeremy’s classes before and returned to learn even more.
What I learned here...will definitely save time.
This was my second class with Jeremy...had a blast with [the first[ one...this one was even more beneficial to me.
Jeremy really knows what he's talking about...he keeps the class very entertained.

4 months Group Policy experience
800 users, 700 PCs
Needed to disable hardware, applications, and games.
I finally figured out how we would block out USB ports and games and lockdown users. This alone made the entire class an extremely valuable and fun learning experience.
I learned how to use Vista's event viewer to track a single event in group policy. so easy but powerful! I learned how to set up various restrictions on a PC for different users. A tremendously valuable feature!
I can not wait to get back to the office and implement what I have learned. I highly recommend the whole week to anyone who has anything to do with Group Policy. Nothing beats these classes, nothing.

600 users, 125 servers, and 625 desktops.
Had a lot of issues in their environment.
Had a lot of “crafty” solutions in place that didn’t always work.
Day 1-3...3 or 4 problems with instant solutions.
The Advanced class...[taught me] how we can deploy lots of public terminals.
Thousands and thousands of dollars in return investment.

Moving from Novel to Microsoft and from an environment where everyone has admin rights to limited admin rights.
The original course showed me what was possible and how best to go about it.
We go through a lot of information on how it works...and a lot of real-world experience.
There's a lot of things I'll be able to use right off the bat.

Struggled with Microsoft docs trying to create a Central Store.
Wanted to do a lot, but thought they needed third-party products.
The price is well paid for in the first couple of days.
We'll be putting immediately to use the GPPEs.
It took Microsoft 30 pages to do what took Jeremy a minute and a half.
Aaron Hagman Washington Mutual Bank Seattle, Washington
Had “messy” Group Policy.
Were hoping to learn both desktop and server techniques.
Are both Microsoft Certified Trainers.
Had we come to the class sooner, we could have avoided buying a lot of unnecessary software and security tools, saved time and customer and user frustration.
I think this class outweighs anything we've taken his year.
Coming together helped us a lot...we've had plenty of a-ha moments.

Group Policy is now going ot help us take care of [our top three] problems.
Course was fantastic; the labs were unbeatable.
Instructor is fantastic; would recommend Jeremy to anybody.
Jeremy’s teaching style is probably the best I’ve been to…energized, excited…and intense.
I’ve already fixed problems [before leaving the class].
Had problems with printers, folder redirection, and offline files with remote users.
Had a little bit of knowledge coming in.

Wanted to refine techniques in locking down the desktop and centralize management
[I need] to take away local admin rights and bring them back to us.
The GP Preference extensions are awesome.
It was so, so awesome just to be here and learn what we did in these few days.

Was at square one with Group Policy.
Knew that if you didn’t use Group Policy correctly, you could mess things up “really fast, in a big way.”
It will save time and money not having to go out to all the desktops to make all those changes.
I got great value out of the class...now I know a lot.
In the long run, we're going to save a lot of man hours.

Wanted to learn the “voodoo” of how Group Policy works.
After taking the class, [Group Policy] doesn't seem like voodoo anymore.
I found out in this class [that] I don't have to touch every machine.
I enjoyed the course immensely.
