Why Do I Need Group Policy Training?

Most companies spend a fortune in planning and migrating to Active Directory. Then once they have Active Directory in place, the next logical question is "What do we do with it?"

Group Policy is what you do with Active Directory - you control and manage your clients and servers with the nearly limitless power it offers.

We have several classes to choose from including public, private, and sponsored classes.

What is meant by "Public", "Private" or "Sponsored" class?

A PUBLIC class is ... meant for those who have just a small number of administrators who need training. These classes are held around the USA in meeting centers (not usually hotels). You'll be in a class with other administrators from other companies. You simply take a look at the PUBLIC class schedule, pay with a credit card, or pre-pay with a check to hold your seat, then show up with a laptop (check our requirements) and have a great class. You are responsible for travel, hotel, etc, costs. We provide breakfast and lunch for some classes, but not all classes. There is a $100 discount if you sign up for multiple classes at the same time (eg: Two-Day Intensive + One-Day Advanced.). Jeremy teaches the two-day and advanced courses. James teaches the three-day less-intensive courses.

A PRIVATE class is ... meant for those who have many administrators who need training. These classes are held on-site in your offices, with only your employees attending. The class "pays for itself" with about four to seven administrators. We charge "per day", so you can have up to twelve students in a class for a single "per-day" charge (a little more for up to 16 students.) Jeremy teaches the two-day and advanced courses. James teaches the three-day less-intensive courses.

A SPONSORED class is ... pretty much like a PUBLIC class, except that instead of the classes being held in meeting centers, they're held in YOUR OFFICES in one of your conference rooms. Why would you want to do this? Sometimes, it's difficult for us to get meeting space in a city, other times, it's just too expensive. By allowing us to have our class in your company's office, we can put together a class much more easily. And, in return, ONE student from your company gets in FREE. We also ask that you help us with printing of materials, and catering. (We pay for the catering, we just need help with coordination.) So, if you want to get a free student and help out others, this is a great option. Contact us if you want to sponsor a class and let others utilize your conference space.
