GPA - GP Answers - Group Policy

Eric Johnson, who helps me out a LOT at GPanswers.com found this recently, and we wanted to share it with you. Here's the exact email I got from Eric:

"Check out this whitepaper. It talks about how to save money managing desktops using Group Policy (among other things). It even gives specific examples that the top companies are doing with group policy that allows them to save money. It's basic stuff too like don't let users edit the registry, edit the users start menu so they don't have access to all the icons, using GPO based startup and login scripts, etc. Based on this, you can save $120/year/PC just by using Group Policy. AND.....it's a third party whitepaper. You had nothing to do with writing it, but it's what you have been preaching for years!!!"

I kind of love it when I have "nothing to do with it" and it's still true.
