Active Directory and Password Policy

Out of the box, Active Directory only allows each domain to have exactly one password policy.

This means that if your Sales OU and your Marketing OU each want different password length or strength, then you would have to create multiple domains to satisfy this request. This adds additional hardware, complexity and administrative overhead to your environment.
