ADM/ADMX Template Additions

If you want more power than what's available inside the box, you can create your own ADM/ADMX templates. Here, we have several examples of additional ADM templates that you can leverage.

Do you have an ADM/ADMX template that you created, that you think we should feature here? Then email Jeremy to let him know! Let's share the love!

However, before you attempt to use these ADM templates, it's probably a good idea to read Chapter 5 of the new book (Group Policy: Management, Troubleshooting, and Security for Windows Vista, Windows 2003, Windows XP, and Windows 2000) or Chapter 5 of the previous book (Group Policy, Profiles and intelliMirror for Windows 2003, Windows XP and Windows 2000) to get the full gist of how these are used.

Remember, there's a difference between proper blue-dot "policy settings" and red-dot "preferences."
