Hey Team! I’m back from Australia and New Zealand!  My brain still thinks my body is “time shifted” into the future by 14 hours, but I’m recovering. My speeches were #4 and #5 ranked overall in TechEd Australia and my speeches were ranked #1 and #2 overall for the track I was in for New Zealand.

And, I just found out.. I’ll be at TechEd Europe in Berlin in November. Hot-cha!

Meanwhile, I found this fun, (very safe for work) video about how NOT to interview for an Active Directory job. The video is created by Microsoft Learning, so, ya know, there’s a Microsoft feel-good message in there (toward the end). But it’s still pretty great.

People ask me all the time if my Group Policy training class is a good way to help with your exam goals. The answer is a clear YES, though that’s not the reason I created the class. I created the class to give you real-world, hands on training you can use IMMEDIATELY.

And if my class helps you score higher on your Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 exams, then, even better. I know for sure that there’s not a lot of Microsoft “official” training on this super-duper-most-important subject. Heck, I’ve had LOTS of people take my class after first trying our the Microsoft offering or get “bad” advice from others…

“After taking Jeremy’s class, I was able to create and troubleshoot Group Policy in our environment. Others tried to convince me that the “Microsoft Standard” is to have one huge policy, but troubleshooting that policy for them was a nightmare. After they saw how easy it was to create smaller, less complicated policies, troubleshooting became a piece of cake.”

I don’t know if you’re looking for a leg up on other job candidates, need to ace the next interview, or are ready to upgrade your current skills to 21st century “need to knows.”

If your company is rolling out Windows 7, I’m 100% confident that you’ll be a KILLER ATTACK MACHINE by the time you’re done taking my training. It’s all supported with a 100% money back guarantee. That’s right; every course has a 100% money back guarantee.

So, if you’re serious about getting the skills you need, you’ve got two options:

1. See you in Chicago .. Oct 25 – 29th. Sign up at www.GPanswers.com/training. $300 off discounts for the next TWO students (use discount code FIRST7CHICAGO).. and then those discounts are gone. This will be my last training class in 2010. You can also call Diane, my assistant at 302-351-4903 if you need to use a PO.

2. See you Online.. anytime. My Online Group Policy University is totally updated for Windows 7 now. If you know you can’t make it to Chicago this year, then get the training you need, at the pace you need. You even get time with me, as you need it, each week. http://www.gpanswers.com/training/live-courses/online-class-signup.html

That’s it for now. I’ll talk with you soon.

PS: If you’re a “lone wolf” freelancer, or have to pay for the training yourself, then let me know, and I can give you a special deal to help you out. I’ve been there, I know the pain, and know you need to stay current without breaking the bank.

PPS: Likewise, if you’re thinking about a PRIVATE class to get your team up to speed on Windows Server 2008 and Windows 7, then just call me. I can explain how it all works in about 6 minutes.

Really .. I’ll pick up the phone: 302-351-8408. Talk soon.
