I never had GP and I never requested it. How do I remove it without causing my computer to become unstable?
The only way I think I got it was when I contacted Microsoft.com and called them by phone and allowed the person to come into my computer to fix the problem I was having with Windows ID. He reset my password and he said he needed to stay on my computer to check if it worked and he saw my password. After that, I would get messages when I would log off, that there were other people on my computer and that they would lose any information they were working on. I would log off anyway.
I also started receiving mountains of solicitation phone calls and emails.
Anyway, I am not computer knowledgeable, so when I had problems with downloading some games for my grandchildren, I was told to stop Firewall, download game and turn it on again. This is when I saw the Group Policy and I couldn't stop Firewall and heavens knows what else.
I want to know if there is anyone that can help me..but remember it has to be "Step one, step 2, etc...
