    Hi,
Is the new TS in the same OU?
Did you run RSOP from DC for the TS in question? If yes, what are the results?

Just to isolate the possibilities, put another machine in the same OU which was getting policies & see it that machine also having the problem?
Make sure to add one policy which was not applied to the newly added machine?

If both are not getting the GPO's then you have narrowed down the problem.
If the other machine gets the policy & only R2 is not getting the policy then we can focus on it.

Also, please see what is logged in R2's Event Viewer.
Please see Group Policy Operational specific EventLogs >

To view the Group Policy operational log
    1. Start the Event Viewer.
    2. Click the arrow next to Applications and Services Logs.
    3. Click the arrow next to Microsoft, and then Windows, and then Group Policy.
    4. Click Operational.

Please have a look at the below mentioned for your further reference:

Default 2008 R2 terminal server gpo not applying

The 2008 R2 terminal server is under an OU along with a 2008 terminal server.

the policies set for that OU applies to 2008 terminal server but none of the policies applies to 2008 R2 terminal server.

the ou is set to block inheritance, if i remember correctly it should not get policies outside of that ou. in my case the 2008 r2 server is getting only policies which are applied to group policy objects outside this ou and none from the gpo in the ou

whereas it is the opposite for the 2008 rtm terminal server.

have verified this by running rsop for both the servers

    any help is much appreciated

    Hi,
Can you please run the command as Admin on both the machines: gpresult /v >c:\Gpresult.txt
This will create a file in C drive as Gpresult.txt , please post the file or just copy what is there here & we can take it from there.
