Hi,

We have 4 Server 2008 Terminal Servers in a Session Broker cluster. Most users use Terminal Services exclusively, no local computer/login (thin clients).

Here is my problem/question:
One of the major complaints I get is from users because the loose there Windows Explorer settings. For instance, if you change the view of a folder from Details to Tiles, if you log off and log back in, the folder is back to Details view. Other things like resizing columns, etc, also disappear, which gets frustrating for the users since they have to do this for each folder daily.

We have a very locked down environment (users have user rights, cant touch folder options), redirected folders, no access to local drive, etc. I have been unable to locate a way to successfully roam the settings. For consistency/size of HD sake, I also have the users profies being deleted after logoff through GP.

Here is a guy with the exact same problem as I have (might as well have been me posting):

From my point of view, if I could set it so that *every* folder for *every* user could have details view and the columns be a certain width, I would call it at least a partial success.

Any ideas welcome. Let me know if you have any questions or I need to provide further detail.

Thanks!
