Software installs repeating

We have several users Winxp SP3 that have a software policy that tries to install at every logon. How can we prevent that? Server win2003 R2.

What shows up in the Application Event log? I have seen this happen on some machines when the msi is failing for some reason. If that is the case, the event log should show the error returned by the msi. You will then need to trouble shoot what is causing the msi to fail.

I used to install also a lot of softwares on my computer. But why does it keeps on repeating on error?
