I have a test environment with virtual XP SP3 machines that I've had no trouble at all deploying all types of MSI packages to. The production machines on the other hand won't take them.

When I run a gpresult, they list the policies as being assigned to their OU's, but if I run rsop on the local machines then nothing even shows up in the Software Settings.

Additionally, even though I've turned logging on, an appmgmt.log is never created on the machines that won't install the software. It's as if they're simply ignoring the policies when they have the exact same level of permissions as the test machines that eat it right up.

What could I be missing after scouring the web for 2 weeks? :?
