Error during uninstall of a repackaged MSI

I've created a couple MSI files using Wininstall LE and both applications install just fine and run great on a test machine.

However, when I attempt to uninstall them from the test computer I get the following error on both applications:

Another application has exclusive access to the file "c:\windows\windowsupdate.log". Please shut down all other applications, then click Retry.

I've tried closing all apps and stopping unneeded services with the same result. Anybody out there have similar issues or a resolution to this problem?

try using 'handle' to identify which process is holding access to the file.
