I have a GPO to install flash. I'm using the User Config and the install is "Assigned" and I have the check box to "install at logon". I have linked this to the domain OU. When one paticular user logs in he see's the installation dialogs, but they continue to install every time he logs into his PC. This is my first try at software installation, am I using this correctly?

If it's being installed during user login they would probably have to have local Admin rights on the machine. Is this the case? Do the event logs show any errors?

Oddly enough I'm experiencing the same problem with a gpo. It's a computer Software installation. The odd thing about it is that I have the same sort of GPO except the file is in a different location on a different server and it works fine. The software at the second location installs once and only once. The other location the software reinstals every time the computer reboots. The worst part about it, is their are 3 different software installs linked to that OU so it takes 10 minutes to boot each laptop in that location (it's a laptop cart). As I'm writing this I wonder if it's permissions on the actual MSI file. I'll check that and get back to you.
