    Hi,
I was wondering if it was possible to upgrade to Office 2k7 through group policy if the current office 2k3 was installed manually and not through group policy.

The problem I have been seeing so far is that it keeps the 2k3 version of Office on the machine and also installs the 2k7 version. With the way my network is set up, users don't have privileges to install/uninstall programs. If I did it this way I would still have to touch every machine to uninstall 2k3 which would not be fun having over 200 machines.

If anyone knows a way to do this upgrade it would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: We are running Windows Sever 2003 R2, and all user machines are running Windows XP.

    Thanks.

What I did to perform this. If there is not already a GP software installation setup for Office 2k3. I went ahead and set one up then assigned all corresponding computers to that install group. I then added to the Office 2k7 installation to upgrade the Office2k3 GP Install in order to have 2k7 remove 2k3. If you already have the 2k3 GP install set up then you are already half way there.
