I am trying to use GP Inventory tool from MS and most of my computers in AD give an error that reads Could Not Connect. I am running it as admin. It will report on a few computers each time but not the majority. The OS's are 2000 and XP. Greatful for any help.

AFAIK this requires the machines to have file and printer sharing enabled.
you might also have problems with XP firewall, not sure about that though.

What are you guys looking for...

    Maybe I missed it..

GPinventory is part of the reskit.. and not a super-useful tool at that.

GPMonitor is much sexier... as it gives you aggregate data of what's going on from multiple machines.
