Hi there...
I've been using one of the sample script "FindUnlinkedGPOs.wsf" for quite some time now to find all our unlinked GPOs, which I disable and then eventually delete as we have quite a large enterprise with close to 1'000 GPOs and cleanups are done weekly.
I am aware that the script clerlystates that it does not (cannot?0 check whether these unlinked GPOs are linked to sites or extenral domains, but this is fine as I am totally in control of the GPOs (yeah right!) and no we don't apply GPOs on a site level.
However, we have now acquired another bank and they do aply GPOs on both domain and OUs as well as on sites. So, the little script is in danger of producing GPO names which are unlinked but we cannot confirm scriptomatically which ones are linked to a site. "Do I hear someone asking whether we deleted a GPO linked to a site? Do I HAVE to answer that as I will be incriminating myself?"
So, does anyone know of a script or PS cmdlet that can produce a list of GPOs linked to sites?
