    Hi

I have a problem whereby i need to set restrictions to computers in my office. I have configured my settings in one of the desktops. I find it cumbersome to have to go and change the group policy settings for everyone of these computers one by one. Is there a way i can save my own settings and thus export the settings to another computer?

    Thanks

You need to create a security database which you can then import as a security template on the other machines.

    This article is pretty comrehensive:

There is no built in solution for this. As Adam mentions, you can create security templates for easily copying security policy but that doesn't cover other policy areas like Admin. Templates. One quick and dirty solution which copies everything *except* security policy, is to simply copy the contents of c:\windows\system32\grouppolicy from the source machine over the contents of that folder on the target.
