Would like to know if it is technically possible to substitute the Windows User ID into the value for one of the registry key values via the Google Desktop GPO. Specifically, we would like to know if we can set value of HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Google\Google Desktop\Preferences\user_search_locations\policy_s earch_location_whitelist, so that it is set as X:\username (for example, S:\smithj ).
