    Hi there,
Is it possible to restrict FireFox through the Windows Server 2003 GPO.
I need to point the browser through a Proxy server and possible set a homepage.

    Kind regards
    G

    Take a look at...

    http://www.frontmotion.com/Firefox/fmfirefox.htm

they have ADM templates for Firefox as well as an AD freindly MSI file for deployment.

    Hmm,
Thanx for your reply.. I have implemented this & indeed it does appear with the Group Policy results wizard as being applied, but if I go into FireFox it simply bypasses the proxy... When I go into Tools - Options it also names takes my PC gateway as the proxy rather than the one I input into the adm file..

    Strange

    Hi again,
Does anyone know if there are any other hacks to get round this? I have tried several ADMs posted online but none seem to work on existing FireFox installations. ie; It only seems to work when FF is installed via the corresponding MSI..

Even if there is a reg script or vbs anyone knows of I would appreciate it...
    Thanx
