My environment is a public library and we use group policy as well as mandatory roaming profiles. On working with Windows 7 (and this may have been the case on XP as well) - if I allow cached roaming profiles, the policy works the first time I log in, but on subsequent logins (ie, when using the cached profile I guess) - there is no policy enforcement. Are policies not cacheable as well? Basically in the machine policy I have to set it to delete cached copies of roaming profiles or I get no policy enforcement. Would love to be able to cache profiles so I don't have to re-download every time they reboot - any tips?
