Here is the answer from Microsfot: "The behavior is by design from Vista onwards. "Per the security review, saving the report is considered potential for information disclosure.""
In Win 7 or Windows 2008 R2
1. Start GPMC
2. Right click on Group Policy Results and start the wizard
3. Generate a report of a computer and a user (whatever computer and user you are testing with).
4. View the report. This works for me. This is not my issue.
5. Exit GPMC.
5. Start GPMC.
6. Expand "Group Policy Results" and click on the report you generated in step 3.
7. You will receive this error "Report for this item is not available. Please rerun the query to generate the report".
Step 7 is the problem.
Again, this works in XP and W2K3. I have generated severl GPR reports and they stay there until I administratively remove them.
