    :?
I'm really new to this, so please be patient.

I'm trying to apply a GPO that turns fast logons off for a particular user on whatever machine that user logs onto. When I look at the Group Policy results for that user on a machine, I don't see that policy unter the Applied GPOs on either Computer Configuration Summary or under User COnfiguration Summary. Under Denied GPOs under Computer Config. Summary, I see
    NAME:{SOMEIDNUMBER}
    Link Location: <MYDOMAINNAME>
    Reason Denied: Inaccessible

Under User Config. Summary Denued GPOs, I see
    Name: <CorrectGPOName>
    Link Location: <MYDOMAINNAME/CONTAINERNAME>
    Reason Denied: Disabled GPO

I tried giving this user explicit rights to <MYDOMAINNAME/CONTAINERNAME>, but that didn't help. Can anyone give me a hand at making sense out of this?

    Thanks,
    bc

I am new to this and encountered the same problem (before the weekend arrived, i didn´t have time to dig in to it sinds it was friday)
but it is fun to debate and try anyway,

    First question

Do you manage the GPO´s with GPMC on a 2003 controller or XP machine?

I think the Result tells you that in your GPO you only specified settings in the "computer" portion of the GPO, sinds the "user" portion is not applied and therefore disabled (not applied).

If we focus on the computer part that isn´t showing you the right GPO name then can it be that the GPO Security Filter (Scope of Management) isn´t set to filter on the right permission group? (Excuse my bad English)
The GPO needs to apply to Authenticated Users or a different filtered security group if none is specified than the GPO could become inaccessible for the user or computer (even the computer carries a authenticated users token)

I have to dive into the GPMC at work myself to see if what i am brabbeling could be right but maybe this helps a littlebit ,-)
