Default Local Intranet sites set in Group policy do not work

I appologize up front if the question is vague or belongs in a different forum. I recently added multiple intranet Sites to Group policy and none of the changes are taking on the desktops within the OU. This is even after running a gpupdate /force.

I'm making the changes under User Config > Windows Settings > IE Maintainence > Security.

All the desktops are using IE6. Any help would be really appreciated.

From what you have said, you are trying to set User setting on Computer objects. Are the users in the same OU? If not you will either need to apply the GPO to the users OU or you may have to look into 'Loopback Processing'.
