    Hello,
I have a quick question on wallpaper policies. I setup my policy to enable active desktop (so I can have a jpg wallpaper file). My problem is the policy does not seem to work. Other aspects of the policy are working, but not this. The path is correct (I've tried UNC path and drive mapping). The permissions are set correctly on my location, but I can't seem to figure out why the wallpaper policy will not apply.

I have found other articles and followed the instructions, but I am stumped.
Also, my quick launch tool bar is greyed out and I can't seem to find where to enable it. :?

    Any ideas?

Can it be possible that you have also set the option "Force Classic shell" to enabled?

I posted the same topic elsewhere and found out for myself that if you enable this setting that the enable Active Desktop setting in the GPO does not work it is disabled so no wallpaper will apply.

The "Classic Shell" option is found in the User Portion of the GPO in Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Explorer
