Fixed, corrupt user profile! Thanks anyway!
I have 1 user in my network who is unable to see any icons on it's desktop. All other users signing into this desktop are able to view their icons without issue. This user is in the same OU as other users that are NOT having the problem. The desktop is a HP dx2200 with Windows XP SP2 x86
I tried the following to disable Local Policy without any success:
Registry Key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Win dows\System
Create the Value Data Type(s) and Value Name(s) as detailed below.
Data Type: DWORD Value // Value Name: DisableGPO
Setting for Value Data: [1 = Disabled]
Exit Registry and Reboot
I have not restricted this access in our global group policy.
Fixed, corrupt user profile! Thanks anyway!
