GP Replication etween DC's not working

Greetings:

We have one domain with two DC's.

When we make a GP change on either DC, it does not replicate to the other DC, ever.

Everthing else (AD changes, etc.) replicates fine.

The event viewer for FRS indicates issues, but I've not been able to find any answers.

Can someone point me to a primer regarding GP replication how-to's and troubleshooting?

What are the FRS errors reported?

we got it working, but had to make many manual edits in ADSI editor. apparently it was configured correctly for one of the ADC's but the other one did not have the configuration completed somehow. i started comparing the settings for the two different servers and making changes to make them appropriately consistent until it started working.
