Automatic Configuration Script and Dial-in

We implemented a group policy for our Internet Exporer settings only. Under Internet Explorer Maintenance > Connection > Automatic Browser Configuration, we checked Enable Automatic Configuration and pointed this to a proxy.pac file.

When the Automatic Configuration was changed on the LAN Settings, I ran the secedit command and the Automatic Configuration changed back to what was configured in the GPO.

When I tried this with any of the Dial-up and Virtual Private Network settings, it did not refresh. Another odd issue is that some of the dial-in settings have the correct Automatic Configuration, some point to our old .ins file and others have nothing configured.

Is there a way to make this apply to all computers without having to configure each dial-in object via Import the current Connection Settings from this machine?

Unfortunatley I do not have an answer, but a question. How do you get your .pac to re-generate if the end user changes it?I cannot get the .pac file to replace what the EU puts in that spot.
