GPO not working

Hello

Had 2003 domain with XP clients an acedemic network due to ASP security issues reverted back to win 2k but now my policies don't work.

Set up a test server with new policies and these also don't take affect on 2k clients.

The policy is assigned to an ou and will take affect on an XP client.

You did setup your test server and test clients on a seperate subnet or in a different forest I'm guessing???

As suggested I set my test enviroment in different forest and subnet.
Test server & clients in same subnet range.

what is in the policy? has it ever worked on a 2k client? is it an XP-only setting?

The original policy was just a basic lock down and based on XP, this didn't affect the win2k workstations. The new(test policy) I have tried various range of policy setting, using options which should affect win2k clients but have no affect.
