I'm wondering what do people this is the best way to remove a computer from the domain. I usually would move the computer to a workgroup then delete the computer account from AD.

    Comments?

Also, I have a few Domain Controllers that were demoted and removed from the domain, however if I look in sites and services I can see they still exist in there site, however there are now NTDS Settings left. Can I safely delete these objects in Sites and Services?

If your not going to power up that workstation again and try to get on the domain. Like it's sceduled to be reimaged, then just simply delete the computer ojects from AD.
You should remove any old servers listed in Site and Services. This will prevent DC's trying to replicate with old DC ghost per say. As long as your in there, clean up the subnet's.

Just deleting servers from Sites and Services is OK? I don't have to use any kind of ADSIedit tool or anything like that to clean up some metadata?

I am not a domain admin so I have one remove them for me. So I can't say YES. I don't believe you have to.
