I'm having trouble getting the group policies for IE8 installed. I've got IE8 installed on all my computers (servers & workstations). Supposedly the template gets installed automatically but I haven't been able to see it and doubt it installed. I searched for an admx /adml file(s) on the web for IE8 but found nothing! Not even on Microsoft's website. Even though I prefer to use admx files over adm files, I found someone who explained how to extract the IE8 adm file from a Microsoft IE8 download. I then installed this template on my Server 2008 GPMC 2.0 but the "Classic Administrative Templates" failed to show. When I check to see if the adm is installed by right clicking Administrative Templates and click "Add/Remove Templates" I can see it present. The date on the inetres.adm is 3/8/2009 2:26pm. Any suggestions?
