Ok, is there any way you guys can implement some sort of anti-bot registration (like where you have to type in the letters from a graphic or something), it seems to be spinning out of control.

We have a capcha.. and an email that must be verified.

I'm not sure what else w can do.

We've added Eric and AdamV to help squash these guys,
and you cal always email them with any spambot names,
and we'll clean out the posts and ban their accounts.

    Open to other ideas.

    Thanks !

It's better now, but for a while there (I wrote that message a month ago, heh) it seemed like everyday another bot showed up.

Yeah, for a week or so we had a real problem with them.

The email verification is usually a good method, but they found a domain registrar where they could register loads of domains for only a few cents each and get the emails redirected off to a single account, so they could easily create lots of different email addresses very fast whcih made it hard to shut them down - block one domain and another popped straight up.
