When I create a GPO and go into the file system settings. I add a file that I want to restrict. I set the permissions on the file and then need to establish auditing on the file itself. In Windows 2000/2003 there was a setting for Apply onto:This Object Only and in Windows 2008 the Apply onto does not have this entry. The only entries that are in the list to choose from that apply to this are Files only or This folder and files. Which one replaced the old Object Only? I need to set this audit control on a single file.
