Did you discover the root problem of the 1202 error?
If we knew the root problem, perhaps we can offer a suggestion to fix the deployed PCs.
Thanks.
We have recently discovered a problem with our most recent image. It doesn't seem to be processing the security policies. When I run RSoP on any of these workstations, I get several errors (shown below):
Error 1202: Security policies were propagated with warning. 0x4b8 : An extended error has occurred.
For best results in resolving this event, log on with a non-administrative account and search http://support.microsoft.com for "Troubleshooting Event 1202's".
For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.
Error 1085: The Group Policy client-side extension Security failed to execute. Please look for any errors reported earlier by that extension.
For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.
And a splat under Component Status with the error:
The Group Policy client-side extension Security failed to execute. Please look for any errors reported earlier by that extension.
For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.
We are creating a new image from scratch, but since we have several workstations in the field with this error occuring, I wondered if anyone had suggestions to fix them...
Thanks.
Sue
