Question how to make google be default search provider for IE9??

I've been working on this to no avail...using the MS documentation...the registry changes do not take effect for the computer config...

Are there any working correct *.adm files or *.admx/adml files out there that I could borrow??

    Thank you, Tom

    Default

Hello. I have the same problem. I've managed to add search providers through an ADMX file but I am unable to get Google is the default provider.

Even I have to force the registry key "DefaultScope" to select the GUID from Google, but makes it the first time you access the search box, IE changes the default to Bing the next time I try, or else the next time I start IE.

Can anyone help me out with this?

    thanks
