OK...
After a lot of thought does anyone know if its possible to import windows environment variables from computer to its subsequent Remote Desktop session?
The strategy set forth in Jeremy's book for Printers for any user of a pc depends on assigning computers an environment variable to later leverage with a User GPPref. This falls apart when the User wants to open a Remote Desktop session as the RD Server does not have these token variables. I think the strategy will still work if I can pass the PC environment variable up the chain to the RD session.
Can be done? Can a logon script pull the environment variables and assign them to a terminal (Remote Desktop) session???
TIA
