    Default Changing IE8 Homepage based on network location with Windows 7

    I'd like to be able to set the IE8 Homepage for some laptops running Windows 7 based on what network they are connected to. When connected to the domain, I'd like to set an internal web page, and when connected to 'public' or 'private' networks, set it to a public web page.

    Does anyone know a way of doing this via GPO or otherwise? I'm imaging machines with MDT for deployment, so if GPO is out, I can still tweak the image.

    thanks in advance,

    Michael

    Guess you could have a local GPO set one homepage, then have a domain based one overwrite it;

    No network = local GPO

    Thanks Jeff, I'll give that a try and see how it works.
