One way of doing this would be to set the registry value via a user GP Preference. Key to update is HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\SCRNSAVE.EXE. All the screensavers can be found in c:\windows\system32 with an extension of *.scr.
I've managed to set a policy such that all users get the same screen saver and the same duration, but of course there are one or two users that like to set their own screensavers and now can't. I've used the settings in User policies- admin templates -control panel -personalization. Is there a way to achieve this under preferences so that individual user can override this?
I'm using server 2008R2 and Windows 7 PCS.
