Post If Computer Inactive for 30 minutes, lock computer

I am new to GPO's and I was looking for a policy that would lock a desktop if the user's computer has been inactive for 30 minutes.

    Thanks
    Greg

The simpliest is to configure the policies 'Force specific screen saver', 'Screen saver timeout' and 'Password protect the screen saver'. Both are located under the 'User Configuration > Policies > Administrative Templates > Control Panel > Personalization.

If you opt to not set 'Force specific screen saver' users may opt to set no screen saver, in this case the machine will not turn on the screen saver (Duh) and thus will not lock after the specified timeout.

Under 'Force Specific Screen Saver'>'Screen Saver Executable Name' enter scrnsave.scr. That will make the screen saver a blank screen. Works for all the client systems on my domain.
