Hello:

I have Redirected Folders and Offline Files enabled for laptop users. When the users move from site to site, their My Documents appears to access the remote server. I have set the Slow-Link policy (for Offline Files, not GP processing) to a high number (much higher than the actual speed of the link). My reading of the setting is that the laptop should ping the remote file server, see that the speed is below the limit set in the policy, and put the folder offline. This simply does not work, regardless of where I link the GPO.

First, is my understanding of this setting correct? Second, if so, any thoughts on why this is not working?
