Default printer changing

Hi I am having an issue with the default printer changing to PDF Complete in my labs. We are a two year college and I have a number of labs. We installed some windows 7 labs this year that I am managing through GPO's. I am setting up printers in the labs using User preferences to add a shared printer and make it the default and the gpo does apply. However it then changes back to the PDF Complete printer. Is there a way to stop this from happening

By any chance are you using Replace? If so, switch to Update and your problem will go away. Replace deletes the mapping and then recreates it every time. That makes the default printer shift to whatever is still available... which is usually a local printer or something like a PDF printer.
