Hi All

I have just started working for a small company and am looking at applying GP thru the domain. I am experiencing a strange problem with the desktop background. I want to apply a standard background to all PCs and Im using a local windows jpg for testing purposes.

We have 2 DCs both W2003 R2. (Running GPMC from here)
All clients at this stage are XPSP3

There is a default GPO on the domain, with various settings however this is not enforced.

On a specific OU i have created a new GPO and enforced it.
The below settings have been applied:

Active Desktop Wallpaper Enabled
Wallpaper Name: C:\WINDOWS\Web\Wallpaper\Peace.jpg
Wallpaper Style: Stretch
Disable Active Desktop Enabled
Disable all items Enabled
Enable Active Desktop Disabled

For some reason the desktop background will not apply, it displays the background that was set prior to applying the GP. All other settings are applied correctly.

If i run RSOP on the computer the settings are shown as applied.

I have run gpupdate /force and rebooted many times with no change.

Am i doing something wrong, im really confused..
