Windows Search and redirected folders

User folders that have been redirected to a network share do not appear to be indexed by Windows Search. Searching for known items located in My Documents for example does not give any results.

Windows 7 clients on a Server 2008 domain. Other than this issue roaming profiles and folder redirection works flawlessly.

Suggestions?

Windows search will only work if those folders are set to be available offline, which is the default behaviour for redirected folders. Have you prevented these folders from being available offline?
