    New question:

Is there a way to restrict users to a certain amount of disk space on each network drive?? I know this is probably a simple answer, but I cannot find anything about Disk Quota Mgmt. for mapped drives anywhere.

Of course, I could purchase a 3rd party app, but who wants to do that when it can be done with a script or GPO?

    :?

quotas are done on the disks of the server, so if you have several shares on the same logical disk, a user's quota defines the total amount they can use there.

You can set different users to have different warning levels and total allowed volumes, but again it would be on the fileserver, not a policy on user accounts for example.

Note: quotas are based on 'owner' information, so if you take ownership to change security or anything like that, these become "free" files in addition to the person's usual quota as they no longer own them
