I would take a look in your Application event log for errors relating to the redirection. You might see some Userenv errors that might give you some indication as to why the redirection isn't working correctly.
Hope that helps

hello,
i'm still fairly new to group policy but i'm having trouble applying this policy. i have successfully applied other policies but for some reason i'm finding some policies aren't. the one i'm working on now is redirecting my document to a share folder. so my settings for this is basic (redirect everyone's oflder to the same location) and the path: \\server01\users\. i've ran gpupdate /force and gpresults, it shows that it's applied, my main question is what would cause for some policies not to apply even though it shows that it is. tia.

you should not need the final \. on the path. \\server\share should be sufficient to allow windows to add the username itself to create unique locations.
