When I run a settings report in AGPM on a controlled GPO there are a large number of settings listed under "Extra Registry Settings" instead of under a Display Name heading. They all are at least Vista or better settings. I am using the included default .admx files on a Vista PC no custom files.

Many settings under the following keys in User settings:

    software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\policies \explorer
    software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\policies \programs

Is anyone else seeing a large number of settings under "Extra Registry Settings" that are exclusive to Vista when they run a report in AGPM ?

that's where Vista settings show up under GPMC on XP/2003 too - basically if the tool you use is not runningon Vista or Longhorn (Server 2008) then it probably won't show them up properly

    Thanx for pointing that out!

In my previous post I didn't mention that I am using Vista with AGPM did I?

Is anyone else using  Vista :!: seeing a large number of settings under "Extra Registry Settings" that are exclusive to Vista when they run a report in AGPM ?

Care to share the solution auto? I'm seeing the same thing for advanced firewall settings.
