Ok - I know this is Windows 7, not XP or Vista, but saw no other place for this.

I have in the past on XP used steadystate - I'm basically trying to lock down a computer for public use. I have a Mandatory Roaming profile that seems to be working well. I have a policy that seems to work well; however, the policy only applies if the profile is downloaded from the server - if I allow caching, the policy does not apply (after a reboot). If I disable caching, the policy and profile work fine every time. I'm assuming this is not normal, but I can't find anyone that seems willing to want to troubleshoot the issue with me.
