Receive "Windows Cannot Update Your Roaming Profile."

When user is moved to Domain Admins, from domain users, it works fine. User has FC permissions on profile location.

2K domain, XP clients. Have addressed the "ownership of roaming profiles" issue, now this cropped up.

Enable userenv logging on the affected machine. You must do this as an admin on the box.

Make sure to rename the existing userenv.log to .bak. Log in and back out of the affected user. Log back in and retrieve the userenv.log

post the contents of the log here. do you see any interesting event log messages as well?
