ok, so this is my situation. For "Group A" i have a policy set up so that their "My Documents Folder" will redirect to "Folder A" which resides on the same server (different partition) as the domain controller. Now i just created a policy for "Group B" which redirects their "My Documents" folder to "Folder B" on the same server and same partition. Anyway, things work just dandy for the group a policy. When users log off things sync up nicley...Not so much for the group b policy. I can log in, and a folder is automatically created for them in the group b folder, but...and here's the clencher, NOTHING syncs up when they log off! I'm going absolutly mental trying to figure this one out. Both folder redirects are set up exactly the same way, where as each group is redirected to their folder and each user will have their own sub folder created. Why is it that things will sync up for one policy and not the other? I have tried: removing all offline folders, rejoining the domain, removing the users profile on the client machine...ANY help will be gladly taken. Thanks in advance

ok, so i had the weeked to think about it...I went and check the security permissions of the two different folders today and noticed that they were different! The folder which was allowing me to sync has it so "Everyone" has full control while the other folder didnt. So, although i created both folders with that little wizard windows offers, i maunally gave "Everyone" full control on the folder which wouldnt sync...and everything works now. Maybe this will help someone who runs into this same mistake...i
