Hello, tis is my first time here... i were reading some threads and i liked what i saw, ive learn alot whit the documents that ive read.

I have a problem with the domain i administer and i`m breacking head with this.

This happen in all the laptops...

The time to lost the domain account out of the domain it's not the same everytime after we take a laptop out of the network.

We want to work with the domain account out of the domain but after some time out we reboot the laptop and we cannot anymore login.

it maybe has to have with the profile in cache?
    Is this a GPO ?
What can we do to control this?

Thanks in Advanced and the best regards

    PS: Sorry My BAD English

    CHEERS

Possibly profile folders' ACL was affected somehow? It's also possible that it was caused by cached profile that was corrupted. You can fix it by explicitly defining deletion of cached copy with administrative template. By the way, there are ways to manage profiles dynamically without moving them to remote place. Desktop Authority from Scriptlogic allows configuring profiles on-the-fly as user logs on to a system or in enforced mode. Thus it's possible to keep user with limited rights and protect system configuration from unwanted changes.

not sure what group policies or local policies are in place, but either can control the number of cached logins...you need to make sure that neither one of those security areas are removing the default (10) from the cached credentials. Do some googling or on microsoft technet for cached credentials for the exact registry spot where you can confirm that cached credentials are indeed, available.
Careful though, don't mess with the registry too much and always take a backup before you do.

    good luck
