I've run into an issue in our labs containing our Adobe Acrobat package. The first time a user logs in to a lab machine and their local profile is created, our lab printers are added using GPPEs, but the Adobe PDF printer is set as the default. Running gpupdate once logged in, or logging off and back on displays the correct printer as the default.

My suspicion is that the Printer GPPEs run before the Acrobat piece of the profile is set up, and when that finishes, it takes over and is made the default. This wasn't an issue before, when we adding printers via logon vbs scripts.

Has anyone else encountered this situation and if possible, is there a way to re-set the default printer on that first logon?
